哎，真是唏嘘，微软的 Encarta 百科全书产品将停止开发了。 Encarta 产品包括零售软件和 MSN 的 Encarta 部分，记得零售软件可以享受升级和访问 MSN Encarta 的收费用户专用内容。光零售 Encarta 的 DVD 上内容就够多了。 我这儿接触到 Encarta 是 2003 年，那时候的新版本是 2003，初见你时，精致的排版，多样的媒体形式，引导式的目录安排，好玩，有益又非常有粘性—-这可不是一款游戏，是讲严肃内容的百科全书啊。你可以从 中国 条目开始看，一路愉快而毫无疲惫不觉乏味地走到二尖瓣脱垂。我至今还是认为，Encarta 的收录内容对常人来说是没问题的，精致程度也少有产品可以比拟。反正， 我对 Encarta 是喜爱有加的。 有大图片，为排版原因转文章页面阅读全文：

雅黑字体 for Windows XP

本来 雅黑 字体是随 Vista 发表的，其他系统上缺省尚不可用，不过因为是 Microsoft 为数不多的 TrueType 汉字字形，因此很受大家关注和喜欢，自然就想把它弄到其他地方用用，比方 Windows XP，以及，现在好多 Windows Mobile 手机上大家也开始用了（小的包 3M，大的要 13M 了都）。 现在有 Microsoft 官方提供的 雅黑 for Windows XP 了，可以直接下载安装，还扭扭捏捏地称之为 “Simplified Chinese ClearType fonts for Windows XP – 简体中文”，或者这里也行。 我觉得这个字体显示标题等稍大字号的内容特别适合，因为是 TrueType 字形，放大后也很平整圆滑，倒是用来显示 9，10，11 号等稍小字号正文的时候还是觉得有点怪怪的，倒不是发虚，而是觉得笔画的颜色深浅不一，反而不习惯了。以前在 CSS (…)
