Qt 以及 Qtopia 确实不错，可以帮助一个有远大志向的 Nokia 甚至是 Nckia 想前迈进一大步……不过，这个…… Internet services 是哪档子事儿？雄心勃勃的 Nokia 最近表现活跃，具体怎么做，等着看。
在多年的坚持—-如果不是挣扎的话—- Trolltech 和 MySql 差不多，都卖了豪门，终究找到了一个安心不疲惫的归宿，莫非这也是解释为什么张敏周慧敏（如果没有毛阿敏的话）嫁给什么人的原因？总的来说，Nokia 还算靠谱的主儿，在主观意愿和客观能力上应该会给 Trolltech 更好的发展机会，这对所有 Trolltech 产品和技术的使用者来说，是个好消息，无论是公司，开发者，社区还是最终用户都有正面的预期和光明的前景。如果碰上 ICQ 卖给 AOL 那样的场景，咱还是洗洗睡了好了。
Microsoft 的盈利在一片唱衰声中继续高奏凯歌，这点我十分中意 feng兄 的 专业与假装专业 的说法，唱衰声中最活跃的那些是什么深浅好像也很明显。不缺金元的 Microsoft 被传言有意收购 Logitech，当然不是为了多卖几个鼠标，该是在 XBOX，Media Center，Surface 等等产品/技术打造消费电子产品时用得上。
最后给个建议，做 start up 而且想以最终卖掉为目标的哥们，记得把公司名字带个 XX Tech 哟，最近贼吃香。

像我这样上了年纪的人大概都听过毛阿敏的《思念》，这首歌毛阿姨曾经在春节联欢晚会上深情呈现，此刻正好透彻地演绎出了我的心境：

我想起这首歌的缘由是，据外电报道，我最近一不小心做了个世界第一，Windows 7 的贴图和视频全球首发，尊贵面世了。这些东西掀起了一股访问高潮，这个闲扯的话题带来了没预料到的访问情况。莫非，这又是一次自鸦片战争以来，中国人民自强不息，抗击外辱，成功翻身的案例？
在这两天的访问统计里，我看到的数据是：

这里头 OSNews 是常访问的网站，而且我以为属于有那么点专业性的，居然有最多的来源，比较吃惊。看到自己的消息出现在哪儿，有种孩子莫名发现自己已经比父亲还要强壮高大时的惶惑不安。
直接输入访问的来源就不清楚了，不知道是不是从 RSS 浏览器来的，像 NeoWin 和 WinSupersite 的来源其实倒不多。Engadget 带来的也算有一点，不过因为把链接指到了我这儿的图片而不是网站，所以猜测可能有点影响，这天是第二天，我贴了个 YouTube 视频，在 notes 里写了到网站 for more info，所以也有些 YouTube 的来源。
国内网站也就是 MyDrivers 来了 3 位数，因为他们的文章里有原文链接—-不好意思，我并不领情，你们做得比其他 suckers 的网站好那么一点点，不过我认为你们都属于“营利性网站”的“商业使用”，全文copy我的东西，没有我的许可，违反了鄙人成果的 CC 协议。说我“装逼”？（这是去年全文抄袭我翻译的东西的某家网站人在我联系他们后跑到我这里留言时的用语）—-你以为那套谦谦君子的现代三从四德三纲五常外加你一幅流氓架势能捆住我？我—-并且建议所有自己创造内容的人—-不会羞于声明和伸张自己的权利，纵然暂时还不能做“太多”。
Engadget 主站，繁体，简体等都有了消息，算作是翻译自主站吧，他们友好地推测我得不到 Milestone 2 了，所谓君子以德报怨，我会友好地等待他们引用我很快进一步的 Milestone 1 以及将来 Milestone 2 的内容的。
好啦，按总数算，绝大多数的引用来自国外网站，他们引用了一篇帖了图的用简体中文做成的东西。
TBL 发明的 Web 在初始或者说第一阶段的本质特点是超链接，而看样子国内网站也就还徘徊在给自家链接开开新窗口的阶段，所以这么说来，国内还有大把网站没从 web 1.0 的课堂毕业。我倒不是酸溜溜地觉得自己不小心成了打工仔（好吧。。。我就是觉得。。。），而是有点感叹中国地大物博山清水秀人杰地灵，可咋就有人不长进呢，在关于基本原则，职业操守方面，他们也就是穿上二流欢场门童制服的黑猩猩水平，学得像却永远学不成，这是个打扮得烛光珠光宝气却带着狐臭的绣花枕头，即便有再多华丽的袍供他们参考驱使乃至直接上身，也掩不住不成器的事实。使中国成为世界工厂的有在沿海城市里辛苦劳作的我们的兄弟姐妹父老乡亲，也包括在写字楼和空调格子间里辛勤指耕耘永远 Do Evil 的网站编辑。

There won’t be any download link, BT seed or anything like that. I got it from an internal source, not from anywhere on the Internet. I don’t know where to download Windows 7 from the Internet. If you know, tell me.
Huge traffic since my 2 posts in the last 2 days. I just started to worry about I’ll be hunted by a big name company. But if they do that, they are confirming something… Shall I call my lawyer?
Well, one of the most interesting things in the whole story is that I find so much funny idiots who bring so much fun to me by their comments and the way in which they understand and judge things. For example, many guys said that “UI doesn’t change much, it’s fake!”, well, they think Operating Systems are game consoles, graphic things are the most important. Some others: ”the version number is 6.x, it’s not 7!”, “the Logo is same as Vista, it’s not 7!”, “the Media Center version is 6.x and shows Vista, it’s not 7!” Oh great, buffoons always speak out loudly and proudly what they ‘find out’ without knowing the context of what they see. Not being a computer professional is not, absolutely not, wrong or improper. But being a non-computer professional, you pretend to be a pro and make stupid judgment on some pro things is absolutely sad. Come on, learn something about Windows history, the development or some other common sense. You have been insulting yourself and giving me chances to see buffoonery you show. Wow really funny. :-)
I’m looking for a good DV, not a camera shipped with a cell phone. For clear video, keep tuning. Oh, by the way, let’s see what those stupid will say, I’m waiting.

本只是想描述一下事实，不想引来些注意，关于上一篇 现实版 Windows 7，说明一点：都是真的。我确实姓周，可惜不叫正龙。从光盘到安装使用过程，到截图，无伪造，无 Photoshop。
我不觉得 Win7 M1 看上去没有大得变化有什么好奇怪的，特别是这个“没有大的变化”只是说 UI 而已。只有黑猩猩才总是觉得香蕉很黄很暴力就很好吃一样，傻X 总是认为界面变化很大才说明整个系统变化很大。
今天又看了一下 license。这个 M1 版本在 2008 年 5 月 7 日到期。

I was about to share something interesting about Windows 7 in my last post, Windows 7: The Real Thing. The ISO image, installation, evaluation and the screenshots are all real. I mean there is no Photoshop or anything like that involved.
I’m not a person who makes himself complacent by faking something hot, neither will I be unhappy if someone denies the real information I posted. I don’t mean to draw much attention, especially from those suckers. When I post images, there is Photoshop, when a piece of video, there is something called Premiere, or DreamWorks?
I don’t think there is anything wrong, disappointing or weird that Windows 7 Milestone 1 isn’t greatly different from Vista. It’s only Milestone 1 so lots of code may be reused. Besides, even we can’t see much visual changes (say, user interfaces), that doesn’t mean Win7 internals don’t change greatly.
Here from the release notes, I read
The software will stop running on May 7, 2008. You may not receive any other notice. You may not be able to access data used with the software when it stops running.

现实版 Windows 7

最近出了几个 Windows 7 的消息，梦话我不擅长，打击梦话还是可以的。
事实是，Windows 7 的第一个 Milestone 确实出来了，真正样子离那些臆想自然很远。
M1 里比较新的东西有：支持多个不同的显示适配器，也就是可以在同一台机器上同时使用不同显卡接多个显示器；更新更强的 Media Center。另外按 Win7 的计划，只有 XDDM 驱动才能被使用，为 XP 认证的都不行了。
Win7 规划的发布步骤是出三个 Milestone，然后是 Beta，RC，RTM。M1 是 2008 年 1 月，M2 是 4/5 月，M3 是 3 季度，Beta 和 RC 待定，RTM 大概是 2009 的 下半年。算下来，也就是 Vista 发布后的 3 年，3 年一升级也不算差，比 Vista “5年才搞定”的名声要好得多。
拿到 M1 ISO 为 6519.1.071220-1525，IA32 和 X64 都有，带或者不带 debug 信息随选，Free 是不带的，Checked 是带的。
安装机器是 Bealake/G33 主板，板载显卡，另外一块 ATI X300SE 128M，Core 2 Duo 2.66G，1G 内存，这个配置不算高，正好看看跑得顺畅不。板载显卡用 Vista 的驱动可以安装，chipset inf 因为要检查版本就没装了，ATI 卡始终没有可用的驱动，放弃。
安装界面与过程和 Vista 很相似，甚至在选择不同版本的时候字样还是 Vista Ultimate，Vista Home Premium 等，不过 Pre-Release 协议文本里已经写成 “Windows 7” 了。分区界面自动划出一个 500M 的分区，貌似是支持 EFI 的缘故，这个不确定。中间会重启一次，这次之后再重启就进入 Win7 了。
启动后的第一次设置和 Vista 相同，包括帐户名，机器名，时区，桌面背景等。在启动界面的下方，写着大大的 “Windows 7 Ultimate”

因为是 M1 的缘故，和 Vista 外观并无非常大的区别，版本还在 6.x 徘徊。
自带了一些新程序—-不过不意味着最终的 Win7 也会带这些—- XPS Viewer EP，查看 Office 2007 文档的工具，其实在 XPS Essentials Pack 也有了。
PowerShell 已经放进来了。
右下角的托盘里不再显示 Sidebar 控制了，其实我是想关掉 Sidebar 的—-在用到 42 寸显示器之前都会让它关着。管理 systray 上的图标，有了这个新界面。
控制面板里多了一些东西，比如 Recovery Center，调字体大小的 Display，Windows Sensors，

Apple 在 NYT 的新广告
很好玩，猛一看还以为和正文标题结合起来了呢。
YouTube 上有几个人都录了这段广告，我选的这个应该是清晰度，前后过场最好的。UPDATED: 已更新，原来那一段被作者拿掉了。
广告出现在 NYT 的首页上—-你现在去已经不一定看得到啦。横幅是大大的 Leopard is better and faster than Vista，这其实 莫博士 某日的一篇文章，PC 爬上梯子，说自己是为了纠正这篇 华尔街日报 之报道的标题的笔误—-少了个 NOT，后面？他还要去 get the whole internet correct。

2008 以来自己 blog 频率降低，有其他的事儿要忙，所以，我想在“这儿”，做点有意思的。

数据库限制可能比较紧，具体看情况

BCGSoft 进驻 MFC
我可能是土了点儿，这其实是去年十一月的消息了，今天刚好在 Visual Studio 的 Start Page 里看到。
在 Microsoft 有更多的 framework 和编程语言，同时 Visual Studio 集成进更多功能的时候，Visual C++ 产品开始把精力和焦点放到他们擅长的 native code 开发上，这其中涉及到要提供更好的 native 库给程序员使用。
从 VS 2008 开始，Microsoft 将提供一个大大增强的 MFC，帮助开发者更方便地编写出具有 Office，IE 和 Visual Studio 外观风格的应用（Office 2007 的 Ribbon 迷死用户无数）。在评估和考虑了良久后，他们选择了 BCGSoft 作为合作伙伴，Microsoft 会以 BCGControlBar Library Professional Edition 为基础开始自己 MFC UI 部分库的更新。BCGSoft Pro 的很多部分，比方 visual manager，docking 面板，可自定义的工具栏和菜单，当然还有那个 Ribbon，都将 merge 进新的 MFC。
Microsoft 觉得 BCG 的功能，性能，质量俱佳，重要的是 BCG 架构优良，让 Microsoft 的神童们在将其集成进 MFC 时倍感方便—-当然，俄国人亲切地飞到 Redmond 做现场支持也是不可忽略的原因。预计将来发布的 MFC 会以神仙飘过不留声息，做人要低调，润物要细无声的方式出现，让老版 MFC 使用者能觉得新功能提供和使用起来非常自然，现有的 MFC 程序可以很方便地，无需太多改动就升级到新 MFC 框架上，获得迷人的新外观。
按我感觉（没有数据支持），现存 MFC 程序数量极其广泛，即便在现在新的编程方式和对象日渐丰富的情况下，MFC 更新也是有很有价值的。再说，风水轮流转，虽然现在 VC/MFC 开发的顶峰时期已过，可坚持下去，万一就等到了 native code 的又一春呢？
BCGSoft 是家很出名的 Windows Component 提供商，他们的 UI component 广泛应用在很多人的 MFC 或者 .NET 程序里。当年做这些 component 提供商的对比的时候，最喜欢的一个比较项目是 copy 它 5 万行代码到 textcontrol 里，上上下下翻下页，看谁表现优异，那是觉得 BCG 好像一般般啊。
BCG 这下子肯定高兴坏了，一是来自 Microsoft 的授权回报，再就是沟通和支持上的优待，另外，“名声”，这个及其不易获得的东西，现在因为 Microsoft 的选择而被点得光芒万丈。至于后面的计划嘛，BCG 本来有好几个产品线，即便 Pro 嫁了豪门也会继续开发，会提供和集成进 MFC 的那个版本不同的功能。
这个 MFC 更新预计 2008 第一季度发布—-只有 VS 2008 能用哟。

FeedDemon 免费
几乎是最有历史，最有名也最佳桌面 feed 阅读器的，FeedDemon，免费了。
NewsGator 终于醒悟到，30 美元，在充斥着各种免费桌面及浏览器形式的 Feed 阅读器的市场中显得太伟岸了，所以，决定把个人使用的 FeedDemon 免费提供。实际上这次 NewsGator 是把所有 feed 阅读产品都免费了，包括 Mac 上的 NewsNetWire，移动端的 NewsGator Go!（包括 BlackBerry 的，Windows Mobile 的，Java 的三样都免费）, Outlook 插件。
此前我觉得的桌面客户端的最佳选择是 GreatNews，因为功能够用而且免费，现在好了，多一个极佳的免费产品，我们得到了一个类似于 OLPC 和 Intel 竞相角逐的效果。
桌面客户端和在线阅读器比较，最大优势是 UI 交互特性和丰富的功能设置。UI 方面，文章的排版样式，组织形式，过滤排序等很方便；功能设置嘛 ，目前的大多数在线阅读器功能难以做强做多（受限于浏览器现状），而桌面版这方面自由度很大，watches，clippings，星标 等等是很多桌面端的标配。说了好的，唯一差点的，用现在流星语说，是“社会属性”差点，在连接和共享上觉得有点隔绝，不过 FeedDemon 有部分这样的功能。
FeedDemon 支持的和 NewsGator 线上同步功能也没因为免费打折扣，有了同步功能就不用担心因为换机器等原因丢失阅读列表了，非常 killer feature 的设置。这点够 GreatNews 或者纯在线阅读器比的了。
需要注意的地方是，NewsGator 也希望通过免费产品搜集更多的“attention”数据，这是基于每个 feed 的，缺省安装，每个 feed 都会搜集这份隐私，而且只能对每个 feed 关闭，很烦的。
至于免费的出发点，在许多其他公司的其他产品中也验证过了，一是 NewsGator 没有/不会从个人消费者处获取太大利润，他们的主要收入来自企业产品，比如 NewsGator Enterprise Server 和 Social Sites，如果更多用户使用过 FeedDemon 客户端，会对另外一线的收费产品产生正反馈效应。再考虑到 FeedDemon 和 NGES 同步这样的独特功能，更可以推波助澜。类似的例子比如 BlackBerry 和 BBES 搭配的 PushMail 及 PIM 同步是最佳效果一样。
啥时候把 TopStyle 也免费呢？。。。。。。
