        传说里的Treo 700w，采用Windows Mobile的Palm Treo Smartphone产品，26号发布了－－尽管我们还是不知道它的正式名字。
       
        Palm, Verizon Wireless 和Microsoft的大老板，包括Bill Gates都参加了旧金山的发布会。Palm 在发布活动上说，这个项目已经开展了a couple of years －－ 这是业界保守的最差劲的秘密。
        尽管“Palm Treo 700w”这个名字已经流传了很久，实际上Palm还是没有宣布这款产品的正式名称，整个活动里的用语也不超过“Treo smartphone on Windows Mobile”这个词儿。

        除了Office Mobile 之外，可用直接访问Exchange Server 2003 ，可能是为了对抗RIM无比成功的BlackBerry。

        Verizon Wireless 可能会在明年第一季度推出这款产品－－目前只能由Verizon独家提供。没有提及是否由GSM 版本，Palm宣称在2006下半年之前他们没有新计划。Verizon的BroadbandAccess服务是目前美国最大的无线宽带网路。在EV-DO 网络上，Treo 700可以提供400~700kb的下载速度。
